Innovator Program
The Faculty Innovator Program provides funding for faculty to co-develop interdisciplinary and actionable research projects in partnership with scientists and engineers at the U.S. National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research.
Faculty Fellowship Program
The Faculty Fellowship Program (FFP) is aimed at enhancing collaborations between NSF NCAR and U.S. universities by supporting faculty and student visits to NSF NCAR.
Earth System Science Faculty Community
Launched in April 2026, NSF NCAR Education, Engagement, & Early-Career Development created a virtual space, built from the GEO REU Network. This community provides a space for professionals running those programs to find community, provide resources, and share experiences to help collectively problem-solve.
