EdEC Expanding Horizons Seminar Series

This series aims to provide postdocs with an opportunity to explore career opportunities beyond the traditional academic and research sectors.

In today's dynamic world, non-traditional career paths are becoming increasingly appealing and important. Whether it's contributing to global initiatives at organizations like the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), advancing cutting-edge research at the National Science Foundation (NSF), driving innovation in the private sector, or engaging in a myriad of other impactful roles, significant opportunities exist. These talks will be a unique opportunity to learn about career opportunities and pathways beyond the traditional academic and research sectors and there will be plenty of time for questions.

The first EdEC Expanding Horizons Seminar Series (EHSS) was held at the Foothills Laboratory on Thursday September 19, 2024

The speakers were Pamela Rickly from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Sovit Khadka from Orion Space Solutions. Links to their talks can be found in the resource links menu of this web page.
