EdEC Expanding Horizons Seminar Series

This series aims to provide postdocs with an opportunity to explore career opportunities beyond the traditional academic and research sectors. 

In today's dynamic world, non-traditional career paths are becoming increasingly appealing and important. Whether it's contributing to global initiatives at organizations like the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), advancing cutting-edge research at the National Science Foundation (NSF), driving innovation in the private sector, or engaging in a myriad of other impactful roles, significant opportunities exist.

The first EdEC Expanding Horizons Seminar Series (EHSS) Will be held in the Large Auditorium at Foothills Laboratory on Thursday September 19, 2024

This event will feature Pamela Rickly from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Sovit Khadka from Orion Space Solutions.

This will be a unique opportunity to learn about career opportunities and pathways beyond the traditional academic and research sectors and there will be plenty of time for questions (20 minutes for each speaker) and interactions with the speakers during the coffee break.
